Kimberly Hobbs

Kimberly Hobbs practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, probate and estate administration. She also handles guardianships and conservatorships, relative adoptions, and business planning and formation. She enjoys helping individuals, families, and small businesses navigate important legal decisions and providing thoughtful, practical guidance when they need it most. Before joining Edwards and Edwards, Kim practiced in nonprofit advocacy and civil litigation, serving first as a staff attorney and later as the Executive Director of a local nonprofit organization. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from Auburn University in 2012 and her J.D. and LL.M. from Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2015. She was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2015 and is a member of the Alabama State Bar’s Elder Law Section and Real Property, Probate, and Trust Section. A native of Wetumpka, Kim is especially grateful for the opportunity to practice law close to home and serve the individuals, families, and businesses in her community.
